CAITLIN MALCOLM LENNON

Caitlin Malcolm Lennon is regarded as one of the best women’s basketball players to ever play at Windsor Locks High School.

Caitlin, a 2003 graduate, was a 4-year starter for the Lady Raiders earning NCCC All-Conference in all 4 seasons. She is a member of the exclusive 1,000 point club.

In 2003, she scored a career high 34 points in a 52-46 victory over Coventry.

Prior to graduation, Caitlin was selected by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association as Senior All-Star. She also competed in AAU basketball for the CT Starters from 1996 – 2002. 

As impressive as she was in high school Caitlin took it to the next level in college.

She was a 4-year starter at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. Caitlin was a 3-time team MVP, and a 4-time University Athletic Association All Conference recipient.

In addition, Caitlin was honored as a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All American for NCAA Division III three times. This award for the WBCA All-American program honors the best 10 women’s basketball players regardless of position as selected by the member coaches. 

Caitlin finished her college career with 1,412 points which currently still holds as the most points in Brandeis University Women’s basketball history.

She is also 3rd in rebounds with 781, 5th in field goals made with 484, 3rd in blocked shots with 73 and 1st in free throws made with 406. 

She led her team to 2 ECAC Championships, 2 Division III NCAA tournament berths and 85 total wins during her 4 year career.

Caitlin was featured in Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd” during her sophomore season as her team was 15-2 at the time and she was averaging 26.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

After graduation, Caitlin spent one year playing professional basketball in Ireland, and also coached athletes in the Special Olympics. 

In the fall of 2018 Caitlin capped off her amazing basketball career by being inducted into the Brandeis Hall of Fame where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in American Studies.    

In 2010, Caitlin obtained a Masters degree in National Security from the University of New Haven.    

Caitlin currently resides in Millis, MA with her husband Scott  and children James and Tori.   

In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys cooking and assembling elaborate charcuterie boards, staying active at Orangetheory, and loves all things Game of Thrones, including seasons 7 and 8.
