TIM SHEEHAN

Tim Sheehan is a 1979 graduate of Windsor Locks Hich School.

Like many of the athletes of the 70’s, Tim played 3 sports and he played key positions in each.

In basketball he was a guard and in baseball he was the shortstop. His best sport however was soccer where he predominantly played halfback.

He was all conference in soccer for 2 years. He also was a 2-time ALL-State selection in soccer, one of the few Raiders who have achieved that distinction.

From the halfback position Tim had the notable accomplishment of scoring 4 goals in one game against Newington.

Tim went on to a post grad year at Williston Academy where he played 3 sports. Going to Williston Academy help prepare Tim for college.

He obtained his BS degree in Formation Science from Hartwick College.

In spring of his senior year he was hired by an alumni who had a small software firm in the Albany area.

Five years later he moved to a firm in Rhode Island. That turned out to be one of the best decisions in his life.

In Rhode Island Tim was introduced him to Lisa, his future wife.

Tim and Lisa have been married for 31 years. She has worked for Yale New Haven hospital for 36 years as a physical therapist. Tim is the IT Director for Combined Metal Company out of Chicago. They have 2 children Emily and Mike.

Emily is living in Orlando, Florido pursing her second master’s degree and Nick lives in St Petersburg, Florida where he is in his final year at Stetson Law School.

The Sheehans do everything together. Very seldom did they hire a babysitter when their children were young.

They are creatures of habit. They have season passes to Mt. Snow, season tickets to the Patriots, and annual passes to Disney.

Recently we have started participating in the run Disney events, and let’s not forget Dapper Days.

Tim thanks to Hall of Fame Committee for their efforts to preserve this part of Windsor Locks history.

He joins his dad as a member of the 2023 Hall of Fame class.
