Rich Macierowski

Richard Macierowski

If you grew up in the Macierowski house, you bowled.  Richard Macierowski took the family passion to new heights, becoming a decorated champion and a member of the Connecticut State Bowling Hall of Fame. Rich joins his mother, 2012 HOF inductee Sonya West, as a member of the Windsor Locks Athletic Hall of Fame.

The number of bowling titles Rich has won is staggering.  13 Central Connecticut Bowling Association championships, 11 Connecticut State Bowling championships, a 9 time member of the Central Connecticut Bowling Association All Star Team, and a 2 time winner of the New England Bowling Association Championship, a competition that includes the top amateur and professional bowlers from New England and New York. As of the date of his induction, Rich has bowled forty-seven 300 games, nineteen 800 series and over a thousand 700 series.  Rich qualified for induction in to the Connecticut State Bowling Hall of Fame with three times the points necessary for consideration.  He is also a member of the Central Connecticut Bowling Hall of Fame.  Showing his athletic versatility, Rich was a member of 2002 Windsor Locks Knights of Columbus softball team that won a national championship.

Like many local champion bowlers, Rich started bowling at Bradley Bowl at the age of 5, tagging along behind his Hall of Fame mother.  It was not long before Rich made a name for himself and became one of the best bowlers in the region.
