Judy Van Schelt Jones, Class of 2011 WLAHOF Inductee. Judy was a 3 sport star at WLHS who went on to be a two sport star in softball and field hockey at Providence College.

Windsor Locks Bombs South Windsor!!!

Mark Dennis and Steve Farr both hit home runs for WLHS in a victory of South Windsor. Both Mark and Steve are inductees of the WLAHOF as members of the 1970/1971 State Champion Soccer Teams.


Legendary Coach Dan Sullivan earns his 300th victory in baseball as the Raiders defeat rival Suffield 18-4. Coach Sullivan amassed over 300 victories each in soccer, basketball and baseball.


On the first day of the 2022 Masters Golf Tournament, let’s throw it back to April 5th, 1945 as the high school boys hoop team, led by WLAHOF Coach Al Shapiro, was honored the night before with a dinner at the school’s gymnasium.

Last night the 2022 WLHS Winter Sports teams had their awards night. Congrats to all our current Raider athletes and scholar athletes on a job well done.

WLHS Raiders ring the bell of the East Hampton Bellringers in boys’ hoop action 78-37 led by Matt Collins 15 points.

27 years later the current Raider boys’ hoop #20 ranked squad defeated East Hampton in first round action Tuesday night advancing to second round action tonight versus #5 Hale Ray on the road at 6:30 p.m.

Led by legendary coach Dan Sullivan, the 1995 WLHS Boys hoops secures first ever NCCC regular season basketball title in a win over Granby. A bunch of the hoop league champions were also members of the 1994 State Championship Soccer Team.


On the eve of the 2021-2022 WL Lady Raiders hosting a first round NCCC Tournament game, let’s throw it back to 1986 when the Lady Raiders led by two future WLAHOFers defeated Somers to win the NCCC Tournament.

The Hartford Courant reporting Friday February 28, 1986.

Led by Cathy Flanders, Class of 2009, 20 points and 15 rebound performance, the Raiders beat Somers 41-34.

Gina Cangemi, Class of 2016, chipped in 8 points for Locks.

(Current boys hoops host East Windsor in a regular season matchup at 6:45 p.m. Theme is pajamas)

The current Raider girls hoops hosts Stafford Friday night hoping to avenge their loss from last Saturday’s battle with the Bulldogs.
