Tim Talbot

Before attending the Air Force Academy and proudly serving our country, Tim Talbot was a versatile athlete excelling in three sports at Windsor Locks High School.

A three year starter on the soccer team, Tim played center forward and earned all-conference and all-state honors before graduating in 1977.

Although the team lost the state championship game to Guilford his senior year, Tim was still voted the most valuable player in the game.

Tim was also a three year starter on the basketball team playing forward.

Although he did not play baseball his senior year Tim was named all-conference his junior year after hitting 10 home runs and carrying a batting average of .360.

At the Air Force Academy Tim was a four year starter at goaltender and center for the soccer team.

After graduation Tim was on active duty with the Air Force for 7 years, and then in the Air Force Reserves and Air National Guard for 14 years.

While in the military, Tim played racquetball, tennis, and golf. He still plays golf but prefers not to mention his handicap.

Tim and his wife Wendy have traveled throughout the US. His favorite spot is the Outer Banks which he visits yearly.

Tim and Wendy now reside in Florida after living in Vermont for 20 years.

Tim Talbot was that rare breed that had the talent to excel at whatever sport he chose coupled with the character and intellect needed to be accepted and graduate from a military academy; flying in to the Athletic Hall of Fame.
